WEDI Member Position Advisory (MPA Event): AI RFI: Adoption and Use of AI in Clinical Care

HHS to use regulation, reimbursement, and research & development levers to enable AI adoption and use in clinical care to evolve and propel the US health care system forward 

This WEDI MPA event is open to WEDI members only. 

The WEDI MPA process is designed to solicit WEDI member input on topical issues, public and private sector proposals, government regulations, or requests for information (RFI). The MPAs are designed to advise the WEDI Board as it develops the official WEDI response. 

Recently, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the release of a Request for Information (RFI) seeking broad public input on how HHS can accelerate the adoption and use of artificial intelligence as part of clinical care for all Americans. Through this RFI, HHS is inviting stakeholders to provide feedback on how the Department can use its regulatory, reimbursement, and research & development levers across all of HHS to enable AI adoption to propel the American health care system forward.
